Known Issues 

UH Project Fiscal Reports

KFS Monthly Expenditures Report is incorrectly displaying duplicate transactions that have been posted to UH KFS for fiscal year 2025 for the period July 2024 to December 20, 2024. This issue is not occurring in the KFS Budget Status Report; the KFS Budget Status Report is currently displaying accurate balances.

Search All Documents - Refresh

We recognize the need for more timely refreshes of the "Search All Documents" feature to improve user efficiency and satisfaction. We are assessing and optimizing the refresh schedule to make this feature more responsive. Continuous monitoring and improvements are underway to enhance the user experience. We appreciate your patience and will provide updates as soon as the issue is fixed.

Converting Print Web Pages to PDF via Safari Web Browser

We have observed that when users attempt to print web pages to PDF using Safari on Macintosh computers, the page margins do not format correctly. As a temporary solution, we recommend using the Chrome browser on your Macintosh device, which generates cleaner PDFs. Please be assured that we are aware of the issue and are actively working on a resolution. 

Departure and Arrival Time Options 

In the calendar within the itinerary table, users can input the date and time of the traveler. Presently, the calendar offers time selection in 10-minute intervals. Users have the flexibility to enter the precise time and disregard the time options available on the right side of the calendar. 

Printing Reports on Landscape Layout 

When printing reports (Detail of Cost, Payroll Report, etc..), users must print on “Landscape.” Printing on “Portrait” will cutoff columns and affect the layout of the report. Users can change the layout in the printing setting. If you encounter issue with line breaks despite setting your print mode to 'Landscape,' please adjust the printing scale to 80%. 

Pasting Values into Fields Appearing as Invalid Characters in Online PDF View  

When viewing PDFs online, line indents appear as invalid characters when copied and pasted. This issue disrupts the formatting of the text. We are aware of the problem and are working to correct it.  

Trip Itinerary – Destination Field Auto-Size   

The destination field in the Trip Itinerary currently does not auto-size to fit the length of the city and state names. This can cause incomplete display of longer names. We are working on a fix to ensure proper display.  

Future Enhancements 

Calendar Pop-Up Screen 

Within the financial portal, users can input a date by selecting one from the calendar or by manually typing it in and pressing the "Tab" button to proceed to the next field. Currently, the calendar remains open until the user clicks outside of it. We will explore adjusting this behavior as a potential enhancement in the future. 

Authorization For Payment Form 

Currently, the Fiscal Administrator lacks the ability to modify the signature fields for the Principal Investigator and Fiscal Administrator. We will investigate potential enhancements to address this limitation in the future. 

Financial Forecast Reports 

The RCUH team is actively seeking methods to improve the KFS and RCUH Budget Status reports. In upcoming updates, users can click on specific amounts within the budget categories listed in the current month expended column. This enhancement aims to offer comprehensive transaction details for the current period, as well as the total amount expended from the project's initiation to the present date.
